Winthrop U. Cancels Classes After Fire Damages a Classroom Building

Winthrop University, South Carolina, cancelled classes March 8 due to a fire in Owens Hall, one of the institution's newest buildings. Officials expect that much of the interior will have to be replaced because of smoke and water damage.
