Suspect Charged in Shooting of Northern Illinois University Student

A Northern Illinois University student was shot in the leg during an argument with another student outside of a residence hall on Feb. 19. Zachary R. Isaacman, 22, is accused of shooting Brian Mulder, 24, and is charged with aggravated battery with a firearm, aggravated unlawful use of a weapon, and simple battery. Mulder suffered non-life-threatening injuries. Officials did not give a motive for the shooting.
